The Marketing committee has put together two programs. We feel these will help our members to increase their marketing options.
The first program is a preconditioned calf program. We have established a set of standards and any Butler County Cattlemen Association member willing to follow the preconditioning program is eligible to be listed on the web site. Local buyers have expressed a willingness to pay a premium for calves meeting the requirements of this program. They will be able to view producers listed on our website, contact them, and arrange a private treaty sale.
The second program is a simple listing Butler County Cattlemen Association members that are willing to sell freezer beef. No restrictions have been placed on this program. Those members wishing to participate in either program may do so easily.
